No Clarion 24 Hour Feed
There is no official Clarion County 24-hour release feed. The Clarion County Corrections page has facility information and links about accounts, mail, property, visitation, and victim notification, but it has no public roster, booking log, named release list, or archive. The Sheriff's official pages provide no substitute. No official Clarion sheriff app or systematic social release stream was found either.
That gap matters. A true rolling list would need a stated window, fields, update cycle, and retention rule. Clarion publishes none of those items. It would be inaccurate to take a list from an unrelated county or a commercial source and label it as local. It would also be wrong to infer release when a name vanishes from an unofficial roster. The person might have entered the community, moved to PA DOC, gone to another county, or been transferred to a different authority.
Check Clarion Same-Day Releases
A same-day inquiry begins with the agency that last held the person. For a local booking, that is Clarion County Corrections, not PA DOC. Use the exact legal name and a known booking or court date. Ask whether the person remains there, was physically discharged, or left in another agency's custody. The wording keeps community release separate from transfer.
- Call Clarion County Corrections at 814-226-9615. Provide the full name and a narrow date range.
- Search UJS Case Information in both Magisterial District and Common Pleas records for Clarion County. Read bail, disposition, sentence, and later entries in order.
- Review any PA SAVIN alert that was registered before the event. Preserve the time, agency, event label, and identifier.
- If proof is needed, submit a focused request for the existing commitment, movement, or discharge record.
- If staff report a transfer, search only the receiving system that fits, such as PA DOC, BOP, or ICE.
The docket can explain why release was allowed, but it does not give a jail-door timestamp. Bail may be posted before staff finish warrant checks, detainer review, identification, property, or transport steps. Conversely, a custody system may record a movement before a public court entry appears. Clarion's physical release date and destination come from the custodial record.
For a longer review period, the Jail Releases: 72 Hours page uses a three-day verification sequence without implying that Clarion offers a hidden feed.
Clarion 24 Hour Record Fields
Because no public list exists, Clarion County has not published a release-feed field set. The items below are fields to request if the county keeps them. They are not promised online results. A narrow request is more likely to locate an existing record than a broad demand for every person released that day.
| Requested field | What it may establish |
|---|---|
| Name and booking identifier | Connects the movement to the correct person and booking. |
| Commitment date and time | Marks when the local custody episode began. |
| Physical release date and time | Records when facility processing ended, if maintained. |
| Release type | May distinguish bail, time served, dismissal, probation, or another basis. |
| Destination or receiving agency | Shows whether the event was community discharge or a transfer. |
Ask for an electronic copy and a cost estimate. A request cannot force the county to create a new daily list, calculate an answer, or disclose exempt content. Redactions can apply to personal identifiers, victims, medical information, security matters, investigative material, and sealed or expunged records.
Note: Requested fields describe a useful existing record, not a guarantee that Clarion County maintains or releases every item.
Request Clarion Same-Day Records
The Clarion County Open Records office accepts requests by email, mail, fax, and in person. Ask for an existing record, not an explanation. Identify the subject, date of birth if known, and a narrow commitment range. Then request any record that contains the actual release time, release type, and destination.

The county states that it responds within five business days by granting, partly granting, denying, or invoking an extension. A qualifying extension may last up to 30 calendar days. Electronic delivery has no duplication fee. Paper and media charges may apply under the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records fee schedule, and disclosure is never automatic.
Transportation After Clarion Release
Transportation is a practical part of a same-day release. An archived county program profile required work-release participants to provide their own transportation. More recent local Prison Board reporting also identified transportation as a major obstacle to work release. Neither source creates a guaranteed ride from the jail.
The Clarion County Transportation page describes scheduled and specialized service, but it does not promise a jail stop or discharge pickup. A family member or support person should arrange a pickup directly with the facility and confirm any approved timing or location. Exact release times, exit doors, waiting rules, and property-return timing were not published. Do not guess them.
A release may also lead to a controlled program rather than unrestricted movement. Work release, electronic house arrest, and bail supervision can place someone outside an ordinary cell while legal limits remain. Those routes need transport plans that fit the order and local program rules.
Clarion Release With Controls
Clarion Adult Probation administers bail supervision, electronic house arrest, and work release. A person in one of these statuses may have left ordinary jail confinement but has not necessarily completed the case. The UJS docket can identify the order. Adult Probation can explain the local supervision layer, while the jail record confirms the physical movement.
Several events can look similar at first. Bail allows release under stated conditions. Probation is a court sentence served in the community. Work release permits approved movement tied to a program. A transfer ends Clarion's custody but starts or continues custody elsewhere. Calling all four events “free” would erase key facts.
- Community discharge
- The person leaves confinement without transfer to another custodial agency, though court terms may remain.
- Supervised placement
- The person is outside an ordinary jail cell under probation, bail, monitoring, or program rules.
- Transfer
- Clarion's hold ends because another agency receives the person.
Why Clarion Names Disappear
Clarion's defining data quirk is absence. There is no official current roster and no named 24-hour archive to compare. A commercial result may vanish because its source changed, its retention window ended, the name was corrected, or the person moved. None of those facts alone proves physical release.
PA SAVIN is useful when registration occurred before the movement. A release alert is evidence that a participating source reported a custody change. A move or transfer alert means something else. The Commonwealth warns users not to rely on the service alone, and it does not promise a permanent archive after release. Once a result is gone, the jail, docket, and records request become the better path.
The official Corrections screen makes the public gap easy to see. Open the county Corrections source before viewing the captured page.
The navigation identifies the jail and its public information, while the lack of a roster or same-day release tool supports the records-first fallback.
Clarion Release News Limits
ExploreClarion reports Prison Board totals and some named bail or release events, at times with a photograph. That reporting can offer a useful lead. It is episodic and editorial, however, not a full jail release database. Publication timing also differs from physical discharge time.
Trace a named report to the UJS docket and Clarion County Corrections. The court file may show the bail or disposition event. The custodial agency answers whether the person actually left, when processing ended, and whether another authority received the person. Monthly Prison Board totals are useful only as aggregate context. They cannot identify who left on a given day.
Note: A local news item can guide verification, but it cannot replace the court order or the jail's movement record.
Clarion Released Versus Transferred
A person released from Clarion County Corrections may enter the community after bail, dismissal, time served, a completed county sentence, or another court order. The person may still have probation, monitoring, treatment, or reporting duties. A person transferred to PA DOC, another county, federal custody, ICE, or another authority has left the Clarion jail but remains in custody.
| Last known event | Best next source |
|---|---|
| Possible community discharge | Clarion Corrections record plus the UJS docket |
| Possible state-prison transfer | PA DOC Inmate Locator |
| Active state parole | Department Supervised Individual Locator |
| Federal sentenced custody | BOP Inmate Locator |
| Plausible immigration transfer | ICE ODLS with exact identifiers |
No result is conclusive. Use exact identifiers and stay within the system that matches the known custody path. The broader Clarion County released-inmate search explains how to follow one named person across county, state, court, and federal records.
